b. 1978, York (UK). Now based in the Scottish Borders.

My current work is concerned with experiences of being in and connecting with landscape, and how we record or report these experiences in an increasingly mediated context. I work with drawing, painting, objects, digital images and film, often transferring information across these media and folding in the losses and gains that each process entails. I also work in collaboration with composer Martin Parker; our forthcoming project Mezzanine, an opera for cinema, is scheduled for performance in 2020.
